One of the best things my company has to offer our clients is experience. I’m always quick to promote the fact our team has over 100 years of combined experience in the review of property tax matters, both real estate and business tangible personal property.

Between all of us, I believe there’s very little we haven’t encountered in our review and analysis; from apartment complexes to coal mines; strip centers to manufacturing of airplane parts; $10,000 liabilities to hundred million dollar valuations. Additionally, we’ve been involved in cases from informal appeals to State Supreme Courts. As a result, I’ve always believed that our experience is one of our strongest selling points.

Welcome David Sukenik…

However, in order to continue to grow and serve our clients, it’s important to keep an eye to the future and pass our knowledge on to the next generation of talent. With that in mind, I’d like to introduce David Sukenik, the newest member of Swartz + Associates.

David recently graduated from the University of Kansas with a business degree and a focus on Entrepreneurship. Although he grew up in the Inland Empire area of Southern California, his roots trace back to the Midwest, with long ties to Omaha.

David will be assisting in the research of various properties while also advancing his education through various property tax classes in the upcoming months. We’re very excited to have him join the team and look forward to his fresh perspective that us “seasoned veterans” sometimes miss.

Speaking of fresh perspectives…

A year ago I wrote about the journey of taking my daughter back to school. It’s hard to believe, but it’s that time again and we’re looking forward to the trek out east…two days of no real agenda…just knowing we need to be at school on the morning of August 24th.  Where should we go this time, I-80 or I-70?….two lane highways or interstate highways so we can “just get there”? We’ll just have to see where the wind takes us! Wherever we go, we know we’ll be creating memories to last a lifetime.

And finally…

Things will move fast over the next six weeks as we have hearings on big cases throughout the country. Hydrogenous oil plants in IA; coal mines in KY and WV; retail stores in CT; movie theaters in IL and TX, and several cases in KS this Fall. All have unique aspects and we look forward to achieving positive results for our clients.

Thanks, as always, for reading our blog. And happy “Back to School” everyone!
